Problem being addressed:
Primary care providers (PCPs) are going to be the first point of contact for many during this crisis, especially in remote areas. The disease is most devastating for patients with a pre-existing medical condition and these PCPs lack the resources and access to specialists to assess these patients.
This project will explore how one can use the vast Primary care providers in India with specialist consultations so that patients can be managed locally until it is necessary for patients to be admitted to the hospital for both COVID and non-COVID patients. If this project is successful, then, it will help reduce unnecessary visits to the hospitals and have the hospital capacity for really needed patients
