Problem being addressed:

India has a severe lack of ventilators (~40K, vs projected demand of 200K+). The demand is rapidly ramping up due to COVID-related issues, and the need to increase ventilator supply is urgent. India is also faced with a shortage of supply of doctors and personnel to continuously monitor ventilators.

Unique solution:

The organization provides a splitter uniquely designed for managing two patients with different ventilatory needs (differential pressure splitting), while also preventing cross-contamination between paired patients. Simple splitters / multiplexers are increasingly being used in countries such as USA, Spain and Italy - this is an improved design and doubles the effective ventilator capacity while decreasing some of the risks of simple splitters.
